Collections

New Books
The library receives new books on a regular basis. These new titles are kept on the new books shelf, to the right as you enter the library, for one month after they arrive. Once they are removed from the new books shelf, they are sent to their proper location in General Collection. Students, faculty and staff who are requesting a book for purchase should contact the Acquisitions department in the library. You may search for all new titles received in the library for the past four months by selecting the "New Titles" search in the online catalog. The McNaughton Collection
The McNaughton collection consists of 200 popular fiction and nonfiction titles, including books on the best seller lists. These titles are located on a set of low shelves visible upon entering the library's main entrance. Every few months books are returned to the McNaughton company in exchange for new titles to keep the collection at a fairly consistent level.
These books are recognizable by the light green labels that are on the lower part of the spine and wrap around the back. This leisure reading collection is expected to have a high circulation rate.

McNaughton books can only be checked out for a 14 day period and can be renewed by clicking on the link Your Record.
